Opportunity: RN - CVICU Float PoolJob Details: • Work 12-hour shifts with 36 hours per week requirement • Alternating weekends required • Float to all areas as needed • ICU experience required • Must be skilled in titration of vesicant medications, pressors, sedation, and paralytics • Experience required with ventilators, tracheostomies, and telemetry interpretation • Must understand hemodynamics and PA catheter setup and interpretation • Work with 16-bed CICU unit maintaining 2:1 or 1:1 patient ratios (occasionally 3:1 depending on acuity) • Work exclusively with RNs (no unit secretaries or patient care technicians) • Use equipment including ventilators, telemetry, Baxter IV pumps, IABP, CRRT, Impella, and hypothermia devices • Document using Cerner system • Assist with procedures including cardioversion, central line insertion, EGD, bronchoscopy, chest tube insertions, pericardiocentesis, and thoracentesis • Advanced skills appreciated include IABP, Impella, and CRRT experience • Wear all navy or navy and white scrubs (no pullovers, hoodies, or green scrubs except when uniform is soiled) • CCRN certification recommended but not requiredFacility: This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive medical center with specialized cardiovascular intensive care capabilities.
