Environmental Health and Safety Manager

Major manufacturing company seeks an experience EHS Manager to be based out of their Central NY location. This person will manage the EHS program for two manufacturing plants with 600+ employees. This position will have 3 direct reports. Company has a tremendous reputation for treating their employees well and being pro-active towards safety. They are looking for an experience EHS professional to take their safety program to the next level. Responsibilities include: Provide safety leadership and experience to the corporation. Collaborate with all leaders to enhance the company's behavioral-based safety approach. Establish and implement a multi-year safety program. Work effectively with operations team to ensure risks are identified and managed. Subject matter expert on safety resouces. Maintain and provide annual safety training Maintain regulatory and internal reporting. Maintain a plant presence and create a safety resource for plant supervisors and employees. Facilitate injury analysis and reporting Requirements: BS Safety or related 7+ years EHS experience in a manufacturing environment. 4+ years safety leadership experience CSP is a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: $115,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Health savings account Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: Monday to Friday Ability to Relocate: Utica, NY: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
