*Overview* We are seeking a highly skilled AI/GenAI Mainframe Modernization Engineer to join our innovative technology team. This role is pivotal in leading the transformation of legacy mainframe systems into scalable, efficient, and secure enterprise solutions utilizing advanced AI and Generative AI technologies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of mainframe modernization through cutting-edge AI applications and automation strategies. *Duties* * *Mainframe Development:* Build, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications on *IBM z/OS* platforms. * *Core Technologies:* Strong hands-on expertise in *COBOL, DB2, JCL, CICS, and VSAM*. * *Application Delivery:* Translate business requirements into scalable, reliable Mainframe solutions. * *Batch Processing:* Develop and manage *JCL jobs, procedures, utilities, and batch workflows*. * *Online Systems:* Support and enhance *CICS-based transactional applications* and integrations. * *Production Support:* Investigate defects, perform root-cause analysis, and resolve critical production issues. * *SDLC Collaboration:* Partner with *Business Analysts, QA, and technical teams* throughout development and release cycles. * *Quality & Standards:* Participate in *code reviews, testing, debugging, and technical documentation*. * *Mainframe Environment:* Experience with *TSO/ISPF, z/OS*, release management, and deployment activities. * *AI/GenAI Advantage:* Exposure to *AI/GenAI tools, automation, or modernization initiatives within Mainframe environments* is highly desirable.
