Max Pay: $70/HourDuration: 6 months - 1 yearPurpose: Capacity support for ongoing and upcoming Away From Home (AFH) initiativesExpectations:Onsite Monday-FridayTravel 10-15% (Mainly to factories; will be reimbursed)Semi structured oversight with independent executionSupport innovation, renovation, and commercialization of AFH productsResponsibilitiesConduct benchtop formulation, prototype development, and analytical testingEvaluate flavor, texture, color, nutrition, and shelf life; ensure compliance with internal standardsSupport innovation, renovation, productivity, and commercialization initiatives for AFH products (e.g., condiments, sauces, soups, mac & cheese)Execute feasibility assessments, costings, factory trials, recipe development, technical documentation, and label creationProvide technical guidance during initial factory productionCollaborate cross functionally with Packaging, Quality, Operations, Project Management, Marketing, and SalesManage multiple concurrent assignments with strong scientific and problem-solving skillsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, Meat Science, Chemical Engineering, or related/equivalent fieldMinimum 3+ years of real-world product development experience (not entry level)Strong benchtop formulation capability — identified as the most critical skill for the first 90 daysHands-on experience running bench experiments, prototype work, analytical measurements, and related lab techniquesAbility to manage multiple projects with semi structured oversight (receives direction, then executes independently with ongoing oversight)Internships or full-time experience in product developmentVersatility and adaptability across product categoriesExperience with condiments, sauces, soups, or mac & cheese (helpful but not required)By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from and its affiliates, and contracted partners.
