Data Engineer

Job Title: Senior Data EngineerLocation: Secaucus, NJ (Remote)Note: We are looking for candidates who can work on W2.We’re looking for a passionate Data Engineer to join our agile team and play a key role in designing, building, and scaling modern data solutions on a cloud platform. In this role, you’ll partner with business stakeholders and technology teams to turn complex data needs into reliable, scalable, and impactful data products that power decision-making across the organization.What You’ll DoDesign, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data products within a cloud ecosystem (GCP preferred).Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows using tools such as Dataflow, Dataform, Matillion, or similar.Develop robust data models using BigQuery or modern cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake) to support analytics and business intelligence.Deliver impactful data solutions for BI tools like Looker, QuickSight, or other visualization platforms.Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code (SQL, scripts, and procedures) that meets functional and performance standards.Troubleshoot and resolve data and system issues, providing ongoing support and ensuring high availability of data systems.Act as a technical mentor, sharing knowledge and promoting engineering best practices within the team.Partner with external vendors to co-develop and integrate solutions.Communicate effectively with project leads and team members regarding progress, risks, and solutions.Ensure compliance with internal standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.What You BringExperience: 3–5 years in data engineering or related rolesEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related fieldStrong expertise in cloud data platforms (GCP preferred)Hands-on experience with data warehousing solutions (Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar)Proficiency in SQL and data pipeline developmentExperience working in Agile environmentsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
