Registered Nurse 2 - Cardiac 2 - WOW (Nights)

Weekender must work every Fri, Sat, Sun. Increase hourly pay for WOW position. Coordinates and delivers patient care using the health care team philosophy practice model. Coordinates and does patient teaching and discharge planning. Coordinates activities with ancillary departments. Maintains standards of department and the hospital. Maybe subjected to unpleasant sights and odors, stressful situations and hazardous or infectious agents where judgment as to precautions need to be taken is essential. Climate control and ambient temperature variances may be experienced. Exposure to limited amounts of hazardous chemicals or substances and infectious disease processes are a possibility. Hours of duty maybe irregular or unexpectedly extended due to emergency circumstances.Direct contact with blood or other body fluids to which universal precautions apply. Personal protective equipment is made available and must be worn.Experience, Education, Training, Special Skills, and Licensure:Experience: One year experience as an RN neededEducation: Graduate of accredited school of nursingSkills: Employee must demonstrate ability to recognize patients' individual needs based on medical conditions, age adolescents, young adults, middle-aged and geriatric), limitations and planned procedures. Requires good judgment in delivering patient care; good oral and written communication skills; ability to function in stressful situations; current review in CPR. Must be willing to rotate shifts, days off and work area; may occasionally be required to work overtime.Licensure: Current Mississippi State license as RN
