Our people first culture, industry leadership, and recognition as a 2026 USA Today Best Company make this an exciting time to join our team.RequirementsSchedule: Monday - FridayHours: 7am - 330pmPosition SummaryProvides support for the vehicle maintenance department by diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical problems and repairing subsequent problems.Essential Job FunctionsDiagnose and repair class 8 trucks, trailers and cars using diagnostic toolsRepair refrigeration units on trailersLift heavy parts such as wheels, tires, brake drums, batteries, springs, etc.Perform vehicle preventive maintenanceOperate equipment when troubleshooting and testing when repairs are madeKeep accurate records of repairs and inspectionsPossess own tools to perform assigned tasksValid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or the ability to obtain one with usMust be insurable for auto insurance coverage and possess a valid driver's licenseIs regular in attendance and complies with the Company Attendance PolicyCompetenciesAbility to diagnose and repair diesel engines and electrical systemsWorking knowledge of suspension systems, steering, brakes, HVAC and preventative maintenanceProcess strong troubleshooting skills and ability to interpret manuals diagnostic toolsAbility to read and understand service manuals, schematics and instructionsKnowledge of trailer refrigeration unitsKnowledge of D.O.T. regulationSkilled in proper and safe procedures associated with vehicle repairsAbility to work well with others and at times with minimal supervisionEducation and ExperienceDiesel Tech Program graduate or currently enrolled in a Diesel Tech program
