This position offers a remote opportunity.The Global Supply Chain Sr. Director is a strategic leadership role responsible for designing, optimizing, and executing end-to-end supply chain operations in support of government contracting programs worldwide. This position oversees subcontract management, procurement, and logistics while driving innovation across Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) functions to enable scalable growth and operational excellence.The ideal candidate is both a visionary and an operator—capable of aligning supply chain strategy with executive leadership priorities while ensuring compliance with complex federal acquisition regulations.Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Growth EnablementDevelop and execute a global supply chain strategy aligned with corporate growth objectives and government contracting requirementsPartner with executive leadership to support business development, capture efforts, and new program stand-upsIdentify and implement GSCM innovations that enhance agility, reduce cost, and improve performance across programsBuild scalable supply chain infrastructure to support rapid growth and international expansionSubcontract ManagementLead full lifecycle subcontract administration, including sourcing, negotiation, award, compliance, and closeoutEnsure adherence to FAR/DFARS and other applicable regulationsDevelop and manage strategic supplier relationships and subcontractor performance metricsMitigate risk through robust subcontracting strategies and oversightProcurement & SourcingOversee procurement operations including strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier selectionDrive cost efficiencies while maintaining quality, schedule, and compliance requirementsImplement best-in-class procurement systems, tools, and policiesEnsure small business and socio-economic goals are met in alignment with government requirementsLogistics & OperationsDirect global logistics strategy including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distributionEnsure timely and compliant delivery of goods and services across domestic and international programsOptimize logistics networks to improve speed, cost, and reliabilityManage export/import compliance, ITAR/EAR requirements, and international trade regulationsCompliance & Risk ManagementEnsure all supply chain activities comply with federal, state, and international regulationsDevelop internal controls, policies, and audit readiness processesLead responses to audits, CPSR reviews, and other government assessmentsProactively identify and mitigate supply chain risksLeadership & Team DevelopmentBuild, lead, and mentor a high-performing global supply chain teamFoster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvementEstablish KPIs and performance metrics aligned with organizational goalPayrate: $160,634 to $204,808 AnnuallyRequired Qualifications And ExperienceRequired Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain leadership within the government contracting environmentMust be a U.S. CitizenDeep knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and federal subcontracting and procurement regulationsDemonstrated experience managing global logistics and complex supply chain operations for both CONUS and OCONUS operationsProven track record supporting company growth, capture efforts, and program executionStrong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skillsPreferred Qualifications & ExperienceCPSM, CSCP, or CFCM certificationExperience with ERP systems (e.g., Deltek Costpoint, SAP, Oracle)Experience leading CPSR audits and compliance initiativesBackground in defense, aerospace, or federal services contractingKey CompetenciesStrategic Thinking & ExecutionSupply Chain InnovationRegulatory Compliance & Risk ManagementExecutive Communication & InfluenceOperational ExcellenceChange LeadershipWhy Join UsOpportunity to shape and modernize global supply chain strategy in a high-growth environmentDirect partnership with executive leadership on strategic initiativesMission-driven work supporting critical government programs
