This position works under the direction of the production supervisor, but also collaboratively with engineering and planning and logistics departments. Individual must exhibit exceptional multi-tasking skills, be able to work with microscopes, maintain adherence to safety requirements, especially regarding chemical handling, and be someone who excels best in a small team atmosphere.This position requires wearing personal protective equipment, working in areas with constant background noise, and may require at times: working with chemicals, lifting 50+ lbs., and standing for long periods.Key Job ResponsibilitiesAdhere to all company policies, but especially those relating to safety and qualityPerform manual plating and photolithography processes in the manufacturing of semiconductor devices (such as but not limited to plating wafers, lid arrays, bath analysis, bath maintenance, microscopic inspection, coating resist, mask alignment, as well as develop and etch processes)Follow all procedures and work instructions including system, process, and traveler documentsCollect accurate data and record work completed using logs and databasesPerform regular PM and calibration tasks for tools and equipmentMonitor processes to ensure product fabrication is within control limitsDocument meticulous notes on tool, process, product performanceConsistent, high quality standards with escalation to appropriate personnel when neededWork with engineers to assist with experiments and other tasks as assignedIdentify and drive implementation of Continuous Improvement projectsAbility to learn quickly and eagerness to cross-train in additional areas Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and provide excellent internal customer serviceJob QualificationsHS Diploma/GED requiredAA degree or equivalent preferred Experience with plating and/or photolithography of microelectronic devices, minimum 2+ years’ experience preferredExperience working in fast paced manufacturing and R&D environments recommendedComputer skills for Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Strong sense of leadership, integrity, and work ethicExcellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detailThis position is not eligible for visa sponsorship by the Company.
