Logistics Flex Associate
_Theory Wellness is the first employee-owned cannabis company in Massachusetts and the largest in the country. Announced on December 20th, 2023, this historic milestone honors the hard work and dedication of our team, preserving and rewarding those who have built our operations and upheld our values. This change in ownership reflects our commitment to empowering our employees and ensuring the future success of our company._
The Logistics Flex Associate is the link between Waterville production and every Theory Wellness location in Maine. This role is primarily responsible for the safe, compliant transport of cannabis inventory across the state, keeping store menus stocked and wholesale orders moving on schedule.
This is a true hybrid, flex role. When not on the road, this person supports the logistics department (picking and staging orders, receiving inventory, warehouse operations) and flexes directly into production wherever output is needed most: preroll production, flower packaging, labeling, beverage, and other manufacturing departments. It's a hands-on role with real variety, and a strong entry point into a growing multi-state operation.
*Responsibilities*
*Transportation:*
* Driving: Safely and compliantly operate a company vehicle (non-CDL truck) to transport cannabis inventory between Theory Wellness locations within Maine
* Loading/Unloading: Safely and compliantly load and unload inventory, verifying counts and documentation against manifests
* Vehicle Upkeep: Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and road-ready; report maintenance needs promptly

* Non-Cannabis Interstate Transfers: Assist with transferring non-cannabis inventory, equipment, and materials between company sites in other states. Cannabis product, biomass, and extract never cross state lines.
*Production Flex Support*
* Flex Assignments: When not needed for driving or warehouse work, work hands-on in production departments as directed to increase output, including preroll production, flower packaging, labeling, and beverage/canning
* Labeling & Packaging: Apply labels, pack finished goods, and support packaging lines to production quality and rate standards
* Preroll Support: Assist the preroll team with filling, tubing, crowning, and boxing as production schedules require

* Department Familiarization: Build working knowledge of day-to-day operations across production departments to support where needed
