EstimatorQuanta Power Solutions is seeking experienced Estimators to support complex infrastructure projects across the energy sector. This role is responsible for developing detailed cost estimates for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects supporting power generation, renewable energy, and technology infrastructure markets.The ideal candidate will bring strong estimating expertise, analytical capabilities, and experience supporting large-scale industrial or utility projects with a focus on accurate forecasting, cost modeling, and strategic project planning.What You'll DoAnalyze project plans, drawings, specifications, and bid documents to fully understand project scope and deliverablesPrepare detailed cost estimates covering engineering, procurement, materials, labor, equipment, and construction activitiesPerform quantity takeoffs and develop pricing models using market data, historical benchmarks, and vendor pricingCollaborate with engineering, procurement, construction, and project management teams to validate estimating assumptions and project execution strategiesReview vendor quotations and subcontractor bids for accuracy, completeness, and competitivenessIncorporate risks, contingencies, escalation factors, indirect costs, and project-specific variables into estimatesUtilize estimating software such as InEight, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Bluebeam, and Excel to develop comprehensive cost modelsPresent estimate packages, assumptions, and cost breakdowns to leadership and project stakeholdersMaintain historical estimating databases, benchmarks, and cost tracking information for future projectsSupport proposal development, budgeting efforts, and preconstruction planning activitiesEmployee may be required to visit job sites, field offices, and customer locationsWhat You'll BringRequired Qualifications5–10 years of experience in cost estimating for power generation, industrial, or large-scale infrastructure projectsStrong background in electrical and mechanical estimating highly preferredProficiency with estimating and project software including InEight, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Bluebeam, and Microsoft ExcelAdvanced Excel skills with ability to develop and manage detailed cost modelsStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and construction documentsExperience developing estimates across multiple project phases and disciplinesPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field preferred but not requiredExperience supporting EPC projects within power generation, renewable energy, substations, industrial facilities, or technology infrastructure sectorsFamiliarity with project controls, procurement strategies, and construction execution planningExperience supporting conceptual, budgetary, and detailed estimating phasesWhat You'll GetCompetitive CompensationWeekly Pay401(k) Retirement PlanHoliday PayPaid Time Off (PTO)Comprehensive Health CoveragePet InsuranceEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Professional Development OpportunitiesTuition AssistanceEmployee Discount ProgramEqual Opportunity EmployerAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment and will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin or ancestry, sex (including gender, pregnancy, sexual orientation, and/or gender identity), age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, and/or any other basis protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
