What is the role about? You'll own the technical side of the sales cycle, running platform demos, building proof of concepts, and guiding prospects through evaluation. Once they sign, you stay with them through onboarding, helping new customers get their content model right and their team ready to build. Consultants, Support Engineers, and Customer Success Managers support you through the post-sale process, but the continuity you bring from day one is what sets the experience apart.
What you'll do: Lead discovery conversations with prospects, understanding their use case well enough to know exactly what to demo and what to solve for
Run tailored platform demos and proof of concepts at every stage of evaluation
Guide technical evaluations alongside the wider team, answering the questions that determine whether a deal moves forward
Advise on architecture and integration strategies that align with customer goals and what Kontent.ai can do
Onboard new customers by walking them through the platform's capabilities and translating what you learned during the sales cycle into practical recommendations for how they should use it
Communicate clearly with both technical and business stakeholders, making complex topics feel approachable
Travel occasionally to meet customers in person across North America
What we're looking for: Experience in a presales , solution engineering , or technical consulting role ; you know how to navigate a sales cycle and what it takes to win technical trust
Strong understanding of SaaS and API-first architecture
Confident working with REST APIs , whether that's explaining them to a developer or explaining the business value to a non-technical person
Able to lead conversations with both technical and business stakeholders without losing either audience
Hands-on experience with Kontent.ai or another headless CMS platform
Experience with content modeling, content operations, or structured content governance
Familiarity with localization workflows or multilingual content operations
Experience advising on digital maturity or content strategy at an enterprise level
