We are building more than great places to live we're creating vibrant communities and meaningful careers.The People Operations Generalist will be responsible for compiling and recording employee personal data, computing employees' time worked, commissions/bonuses, and audit payroll, verifying all wages are paid correctly. Additionally, the People Operations Generalist will be responsible for being the first point of contact in their region regarding concerns, questions, employee issues and new hire communications.Compensation: $75,000 to $85,000 annually, based on your experience.Schedule: Monday through Friday, in-office role.Essential Functions:Reviewing time sheets, commission and bonus calculations, and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepanciesProcessing paperwork for new employees and employment changes; entering employee information into the HRIS/payroll systemMaintaining all paper and electronic personnel records ensuring complianceProcess pay adjustments and post information to designated recordsComputing wages and deductions, entering data into appropriate software programsKeeping up to date record for all employee time off, including sick, vacation and other leaves of absenceSending out new hire communications to assist new hires with their transition into the company during the first 90 daysMaintaining close communication with all site managers, providing support to ensure timely payroll processingProcessing wage garnishments and leviesManaging worker's compensation claims for regionSorting and sending out paychecks to all locationsConducting exit interviews for voluntary terminations as requestedAssisting with the initial investigation of employee issues and escalate to the People Operations leadership team as neededBuilding positive relationships with management and employees through coaching and high levels of collaborationRunning reports and auditing data as neededComplete monthly and quarterly Labor Statistic reportingSupport with various other responsibilities including but not limited to administrative tasks and special projectsSpecial Requirements and Qualifications:ADP WorkForce Now experience preferredADP Enhanced Time (Enterprise eTIME) experience preferredMicrosoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) experience requiredStrong organization and attention to detail, ability to work independentlyHigh school diploma requiredADP or payroll certification preferredWe've Got You Covered!Medical, Dental & Vision: Highlights include company-paid individual PPO-HSA plan (with $1,200 annual employer contribution); HMO options for California residents.
