Role Description This internship role for a Volunteer Manager offers the opportunity to lead and coordinate volunteer activities for the organization in a fully remote capacity. Key responsibilities include recruiting, training, and managing volunteers, developing volunteer programs, and fostering a positive and engaging volunteer experience. The Volunteer Manager will also collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth execution of initiatives and promote the organization’s mission on local and global scales. Qualifications Experience in volunteer coordination, team management, and leadershipKnowledge of community engagement, outreach, and program developmentStrong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skillsAbility to work effectively in a remote environment with minimal supervisionFamiliarity with sustainability or environmental issues is a plusProficiency in using collaboration tools such as document sharing, video conferencing, and project management platformsBachelor's degree in Social Work, Nonprofit Management, Environmental Studies, or a related field is preferred
