Responsible for delivering high-quality patient service and supporting practice operations.Essential ResponsibilitiesGreet patients and visitors courteously, maintaining privacy and confidentiality. Serve as a central communication point, responsive and accessible. Manage challenging situations effectively.Perform check-in, registration, scheduling, and verify demographic information per policies. Use computer systems to register patients, schedule appointments, and handle referrals and co-pays.Support patient flow, address issues proactively, and act as a liaison to ensure efficient service delivery.Maintain a clean, welcoming reception area, monitor signage, and ensure a calming environment. Contact maintenance when repairs are needed.Provide translation services in Spanish for patients and staff as needed.Required QualificationsHigh School diploma or GEDPreferred: Medical Admin Assistant Certification1-3 years of related experienceFluent in English and Spanish, with medical terminology proficiencyExperience with computer systems, including web applications and Microsoft Office suiteCompetenciesEffective written and oral communication skillsKnowledge of healthcare policies and proceduresTeamwork and respectful interactionExceptional customer service and problem-solving skillsPhysical RequirementsSedentary work with occasional walking and standing.
