Custodian

The Custodian performs a variety of cleaning duties in common areas including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, buffing and waxing floors. The custodian also performs a variety of cleaning duties in resident apartments. The service includes vacuuming, cleaning the bathroom and kitchen, dusting, laundry and other cleaning services, as needed. Good people skills are required as the Homemaker is constantly communicating with residents and working in their homes. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent is preferred. Prior cleaning experience is plus. Prior experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities preferred. Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor are required. Must be detail-oriented. Hours and Locations: Part Time (Half Custodian, Half Homemaker) 20 hrs Williston VT (Memory Care Community). Additional 11 custodial hours available in Williston, VT at our Whitney Hill Community. 4 hrs in Richmond VT.
