Data Engineer

Job Title: Jr. Data EngineerLocation: Oakland, CaliforniaExperience: 3 to 4 YrsJob Description:The Data Engineer will collaborate with data architects, application development teams, data analytics teams, and the Data Governance COE to build and test interfaces between applications, data warehouses, and third-party systems in a combination of cloud and on-premise platforms.Using ETL tools, data virtualization tools, and API engines, the Data Engineer translates business requirements at the direction of Senior Data Engineers into data interfaces, data APIs, and data pipelines to supply the data needs of the enterprise, supporting application to application integration, the data flow in and out of the data management platform and other databases, and the data access layer supplying data to end consumers, including applications and tools.Skills/Experience:SKILLS:At least 1-2 years of Matillion ETL experience with Snowflake as a TargetStrong SQL with Store procedures1-2 years of Cloud Data platform Snowflake experienceETL migration project experience is a plusHealth care Insurance domain knowledge is a plusExperience in developing the ETL for data integration, Transformation including populating Dimensional Data Models.Experience in SQL (No-SQL experience is a plus) and T-SQLExperience in data virtualization, Tibco Data Virtualization preferred.Minimum Education and Experience2-4 years experience w/Bachelors degreeEDUCATION:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or other related technical field.If interested, please share your updated resume at Prerna@getcarnera.com
