Day to day, that means:Performing and positioning patients for X-ray examinations with skill and compassionDelivering preliminary reports and quality images to physicians in a timely mannerMaintaining equipment, supplies, and a safe, clean imaging environmentFollowing radiation protection protocols and OSHA guidelinesCommunicating openly with the care team and educating patients in plain languageUrgent care imaging is varied and keeps you engaged. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 25 pounds frequently. Work takes place in a medical office and exam/procedure room setting.This position involves potential exposure to blood and body fluids.
