You will:• Assist retail and shop customers with selecting parts, providing product information, quotes, and guidance on companion items and specials.• Deliver exceptional service to internal and external customers with a professional, friendly approach.• Pull, fill, and prepare orders; set up shipments, deliveries, and pick-ups; ensure all internal requests are billed correctly.• Manage inventory issues; notify Parts Manager of out-of-stock items, locate parts from outside sources, and submit emergency orders when needed.• Follow up on backordered or special-order parts with customers and service advisors.• Support outside sales representatives and solicit assigned accounts by phone.• Handle transactions, including payments, credit authorizations, issuing returns, and ensuring accurate invoices.• Maintain accurate records of repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates, and special orders.• Keep counter areas and equipment clean, participate in training programs, and stay current on product updates.• Maintain a professional appearance and follow all health and safety policies.WHAT YOU BRING◆ Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED required. One to three years of related experience and/or training is preferred (or equivalent combination).◆ Certifications & Licenses: Valid driver's license required. ASE or Medium/Heavy Truck Parts Specialist certifications are a plus.◆ Communication Skills: Able to read instructions and manuals, write basic reports, and clearly communicate with customers and team members.◆ Physical Requirements: May require occasional standing, walking, bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling. May occasionally be required to lift, carry or move parts or materials up to 25 lbs on a regular basis and up to 50 lbs as needed.
