TA Specialist (Engineering)
Talent Acquisition Specialist
Location: New York or Chicago
Reports to: Talent Acquisition Director
Compensation: $100 – $120k base
Working schedule: Hybrid
We are partnering with a global engineering and consulting organization to appoint a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support hiring across early careers and experienced hire pipelines. This role will partner closely with hiring managers and HR to attract, engage, and hire top talent while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
This individual will contribute to campus recruitment initiatives, experienced hire sourcing strategies, and employer branding efforts, while ensuring consistent, inclusive, and efficient recruitment processes aligned to business growth.
Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle recruitment across early careers and experienced hire roles
Partner with hiring managers to understand requirements and develop sourcing strategies
Lead campus recruitment initiatives, including university partnerships and career fairs
Coordinate graduate, intern, and apprentice hiring campaigns and assessment processes
Source and engage experienced professionals through multiple channels
Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles
Conduct screening interviews and assess candidate fit
Deliver a seamless and engaging candidate experience from application through onboarding
Support employer branding initiatives, events, and recruitment marketing
Partner with HR Business Partners and stakeholders on hiring timelines and priorities
Promote inclusive hiring practices and diverse candidate pipelines
Maintain accurate ATS data and track recruitment metrics
Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes and efficiency
Requirements 3-7 years of talent acquisition or recruitment experience
Experience hiring early career talent and experienced professionals preferred
Background in engineering, consulting, or professional services environments is a plus
Strong sourcing and interviewing skills
Ability to manage multiple roles and stakeholders simultaneously
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Data-driven mindset with attention to detail
