If this sounds outstanding to you, take the first step forward and explore a career with Dal-Tile.Primary Objective:Operates various powered industrial trucks to load and unload finished product in the shipping and receiving process.Shift:* 2nd: M-F, 2:30pm-11:00pmEquipment Knowledge:Sit-Down ForkliftStand-Up/Reach ForkliftOrder Picker/Cherry Picker ForkliftResponsibilities:PickingOperate powered industrial truck(s) to assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets.Keys order into Warehouse Management System (WMS)Verifies stock availability and audits orders for accuracyConveys picked orders to packing station or shipping areasReceivingOperates various powered industrial trucks to receive product into warehouse and prepare for stockingOpens crates and inspects productApplies labels to product according to establishing proceduresVerifies shading of product and places into accurate warehouse locationPutawayUtilizes powered industrial equipment to move product into pre-designated areas within warehouse once receivedKeys location of product into inventory control system and places product onto shelvesEnsures product is placed into accurate locationSPC Check/Pack CheckingWraps and packs products by hand into boxes for shippingLabels boxes with packing slipLoads boxes into conveyor beltVerifies orders for accuracyGeneralMonitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisorFollows standard operating and safety proceduresKeeps area safe, clean, and organizedPerforms other related duties as requiredQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent1 or more years previous distribution/warehouse experience.Must have a minimum of six months to 1 year of sit-down forklift. Reach truck, and OP experience.Good oral and written communications skills.Good record keeping skills.
