At Samsung Austin Semiconductor, we are Innovating Today to Power the Devices of Tomorrow.Come innovate with us!Position SummaryIn your role as a Diffusion Process Engineer, you'll work alongside a talented team of professionals with a key focus on establishing and maintaining world class process and implementing yield enhancement as a competitive advantage along with ability to identify complex problems and implementing solutions.Role and ResponsibilitiesHere's what you'll be responsible for:Monitor and respond to in-line issues in the wafer fabrication Diffusion process, ensuring timely disposition of wafers.Qualify Diffusion processes on advanced tools for wafer fabrication.Coordinate process qualifications and equipment downtime with manufacturing and equipment teams.Analyze data using software tools to identify trends and inform processing decisions.Adjust process parameters as needed and monitor equipment performance after maintenance.Executes change point management on Diffusion processes / equipmentContinuously update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Develop device improvements with cross-departmental risk-mitigation and coordinated experimentsSkills and QualificationsHere's what you'll need:BS degree in Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering or related field of study2+ years of semi-conductor experience highly desired with knowledge of Diffusion processes and equipment preferred.Flexibility to work in a 24/7 high volume manufacturing environmentAbility to work in the fab for 4 hours a day in an office environment where a cleanroom gown is required.Ability to sit regularly while performing work duties; with the ability to frequently walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.Ability to frequently lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds.Total RewardsTotal Rewards At Samsung Austin Semiconductor, base pay is just one part of our total compensation package.
