Registered Behavior Technician in Bonifay, FL

This position requires experienced Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to support two elementary students (3rd and 4th grade) facing significant behavioral challenges in a K-12 school setting. The students have cognitive disabilities and exhibit extreme behavioral issues, including aggression, necessitating dedicated intervention beyond typical classroom support.Key responsibilities include:Providing one-on-one behavioral support to two students with complex needsCollaborating closely with teaching assistants to implement behavior management strategiesMonitoring and addressing crisis behaviors in a calm, effective mannerUtilizing virtual supervision, as no on-site BCBA supervision is providedMaintaining detailed documentation of behavioral interventions and progressQualifications and desired experience:Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certificationProven experience working with children who have cognitive disabilities and behavioral challengesAbility to engage in virtual supervision and independently implement behavior plansStrong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate efforts with school staffCommitment to a contract position covering the current school yearLocation: Bonifay, FL (Please note candidates must be local; no travel candidates will be considered)Contract duration: Current school year (CSY)This role offers a valuable opportunity to impact the lives of students requiring specialized behavioral support in an educational environment.
