Job Description THIS IS A PRODUCTION BASED POSITION.OverviewWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Loader / Unloader to join our warehouse team. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient movement of goods, maintaining safety standards, and supporting overall warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, and heavy equipment operation, with a strong focus on safety and accuracy.DutiesLoad and unload shipments using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and cranesOperate RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory and process ordersPerform order picking tasks with precision, ensuring correct items are selected for shipment or storageAssist in shipping and receiving activities, verifying quantities and inspecting goods for damageMaintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA standardsHandle materials safely during movement throughout the warehouse, including heavy lifting and mechanical tasksSupport warehouse supervision in managing stock levels and inventory accuracyUse mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform routine maintenanceExperiencePrevious experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or materials handling preferredExperience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, crane, clamp truck, or pallet jack is highly desirableKnowledge of warehouse management systems and RF scanners is a plusFamiliarity with OSHA safety regulations related to warehouse operationsBackground in construction or related fields involving heavy lifting and equipment operation is advantageousPrior supervisory experience in a warehouse setting is beneficial but not requiredDemonstrated ability to perform order picking efficiently with precision and attention to detailThis position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where safety, efficiency, and teamwork are valued.
