Supply Chain Sustainability Data Lead, Recycled Content
Anew is seeking a Supply Chain Sustainability Data Lead to support a leading global technology company's team on Recycled Content. The role will play a key function in ensuring recycled material data, systems, and supplier processes support product sustainability claims and evolving business requirements. Working with teams in both California and China, the role will drive cross-function coordination, support system and process improvements, guide data quality efforts, and lead complex supply chain sustainability initiatives.The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with systems thinking, project management experience, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.Location: San Francisco Bay AreaDuration: 12 months or longerKey Requirements8+ years of experience in supply chain analytics, sustainability programs, operations, systems implementation, or related fields.Strong experience working with supply chain data systems and large datasetsDemonstrated experience leading projects involving multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teamsFamiliarity with circular economy principles, recycled content programs, and sustainability initiatives within product supply chainExperience identifying process gaps and implementing workflow improvementsStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesExperience developing reports, dashboards, and data visualization outputsBasic coding skills and Tableau or related visualization experienceExcellent communication skills across technical and business audienceStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple prioritiesAvailability for some meetings and collaborations with offshore teams in the eveningWorking language: English. Mandarin speaking is a plus.ResponsibilitiesLead supply chain sustainability projects in a fast-paced and evolving environmentOwn and improve systems and workflows supporting recycled material data collection and reporting processesDrive data quality initiatives, identify process inefficiencies, and implement improvementsCoordinate with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure complete and accurate data collectionSupport business and system requirement gathering and oversee implementation activities and user testingAnalyze large datasets and create dashboards, reports, and data visualization outputs for stakeholdersPartner with global teams to resolve operational challenges and improve process effectivenessProvide guidance and mentorship to team members when neededSupport ad hoc sustainability initiatives and strategic projects as assigned
