Task Force- Hotel Chief Engineer- Rochester, NY

SSP's looking for Task Force Chief Engineer, Facility Manager, Director of Engineer in Multi-Property level willing to work in fast pace environments, easily adaptable, approachable, fast learners and are results driven!This is a 100% Task Force Role that requires travel- Candidate MUST be able to commute to Fairport, NY.About the Role: Director of EngineeringTask force consultants are desired when hotels experience a vacancy in a revenue driven role and must fill immediately to avoid disruption to business. Task force work environments are fast paced with high expectations and are results driven. SSP task force consultants are required to possess exemplary skills. Those wishing to face unique and challenging projects will flourish in this role. Assignments include, but are not limited to openings, management transitions, property re-positioning and staffing transitions. Extensive travel should be expected. Task force consultant will be on site for the duration of the assignment and will be afforded a trip home every second weekend.Responsibilities:Preventative and ongoing maintenanceStaff mentoring and motivatingMechanical system oversightTasks required to assure continuity in ongoing operations- planning of capital projectsAdherence to all federal, state, and local statutes including, but not limited to life safety, emergency, health, boiler operations, etc. as appropriatePerforming light administrative duties, reporting, meeting attendance, and any other reasonable needs as directed by the Hotel ManagerQualifications:*Must be a US Citizen or hold a work permit and authorized to work in the United States.
