Painter

Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Painter to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to various surfaces across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance aesthetics, and ensure quality craftsmanship on every project. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse sites, utilize a wide range of tools and techniques, and contribute to high-quality building renovations and new constructions. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and repairing imperfections to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply primers, paints, stains, varnishes, and specialty coatings using brushes, rollers, airless sprayers, or other power tools. Read blueprints and schematics to accurately determine project scope and specifications for residential and commercial painting jobs. Use hand tools such as scrapers, putty knives, caulking guns, and carpentry tools for trim carpentry, fixture installation, or minor repairs. Perform surface preparation tasks including masonry work like stucco application or concrete finishing as needed. Execute restoration projects by matching colors using color theory principles and ensuring seamless finishes during remodeling or renovation efforts. Maintain safety standards by properly handling power tools like sanders or welders and adhering to construction site protocols. Requirements Proven experience in construction painting across residential, commercial, or industrial settings with construction site familiarity. Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools—including airless paint sprayers—and their safe operation. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately; basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Experience with plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, masonry work, or restoration projects is highly desirable. Familiarity with construction estimating processes and schematics related to renovation projects. Knowledge of color theory for achieving precise color matching in various environments. Additional skills such as welding, concrete finishing, fixture installation, handyman experience or maintenance are a plus.
