Stuart Country Day School of the Sacred Heart in Princeton, New Jersey-an independent, Catholic, all-girls PS-12 Sacred Heart school dedicated to educating the whole child and inspiring young women to lead lives of exceptional leadership and service-is seeking Head and Assistant Lacrosse Coaches for the Upper School for the 2025-26 academic year.These are seasonal, stipend-based positions.Upper School Lacrosse - Coaching DetailsSeason: March 9 - JunePractice Schedule: Monday-Friday, generally 3:30-5:30 PMGames: Mostly weekday afternoons; occasional later commitments may be requiredWeekends: MinimalStipend Range: $3,000-$6,500Head Lacrosse Coach - Position OverviewUnder the direction of the Director of Athletics, the Head Lacrosse Coach leads the Upper School lacrosse program. The coach is responsible for player development, practice planning, game strategy, communication, and overall team leadership. Candidates must demonstrate strong sportsmanship and uphold the mission and values of Stuart.ResponsibilitiesPlan and run daily practices during the seasonCoach all games and competitionsDevelop athletes' technical skills, game awareness, and teamworkModel and promote positive sportsmanship and respectMaintain clear communication with student-athletes, families, and the Athletic DepartmentAttend required school athletic events as assignedAssistant Lacrosse Coach - Position OverviewThe Assistant Lacrosse Coach supports the Head Coach in all aspects of team operations and athlete development.ResponsibilitiesAssist with planning and leading practicesCoach and support athletes during gamesProvide individualized instruction and feedbackPromote teamwork, program values, and a positive team environmentAttend all practices, games, and team eventsSkills & RequirementsQualifications for Head Coach:Significant lacrosse coaching experience, ideally with high school-aged athletesExperience working in a school environment and coaching female athletes preferredAbility to commit to the full practice, game, and event scheduleStrong communication, mentorship and leadership skillsQualifications for Assistant Coach:Knowledge of lacrosse fundamentals; prior coaching or playing experience preferredAbility to collaborate effectively with the Head Coach and Athletics staffReliability and commitment to the full season scheduleEnthusiasm for mentoring young women in athletics Qualifications
