Are you ready?Duties And ResponsibilitiesResponsible as a crew leader; proper, accurate and timely submission of Production ReportsOversee crew assignments including daily work assignments based on Fiber Span sheets, path determination and communication with the crew, customer, and general publicHandle, instruct, or oversee daily work components including operating a fiber blower, pulling cable, operating various equipment to install fiber optic cable, and other means of pneumatic constructionProvide on the job training for employees working under your direction and direction of your crews based on construction practices and methods to ensure a safe and productive work environmentPerform daily field inspection of construction operations to ensure work is being completed in compliance with project specifications and monitor safe work practices.Direct traffic flow in accordance with local and state DOT guidelinesRead and Implement design prints and other related paperwork and instructions pertaining to the jobMaintain and operate vehicle and equipment safely following all manufacturer safety specifications and traffic regulationsMaintain proper inventory on vehicle based on work assignmentsMust be able to travel; 100% travel is a requirement for this positionMust be a resident of CO, NE, or eastern WY, or willing to relocate to one of those statesManage time critical assignmentsQualifications3+ years OSP Fiber placing experience preferredMust be able to work in the U.S. without need of current or future visa sponsorshipExperience with fiber blowing optic equipment (GMP and CONDUX) highly preferredExperience with operation of hydraulic Fiber Optic Pulling CapstansExperience with operations of duct rodding and mule tape installationAbility to work under pressure and in a fast paced and quickly changing environmentAbility to travel and work on call, evenings and weekends as neededAbility to work outdoors in all weather conditionsExcellent organizational skills and strong attention to detailMust be open and communicative, and accepting of direction from leadersValid driver's license requiredMust be at least 21 and be able to pass a background check and drug screen (marijuana/thc is a fail on our drug test).
