Senior Systems Administrator (Enterprise Infrastructure)**CANDIDATE MUST LIVE IN PHILADELPHIA OR WITHIN A 20 mile radius**We are working with a rapidly growing, well-established technology company who is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to join a growing IT team. This role will serve as a hands-on technical expert supporting core Windows-based infrastructure while helping establish best practices, standards, and long-term stability across the environment.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys owning infrastructure, improving processes, and being a go-to technical resource.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister and support Active Directory / Azure AD (Entra ID) environmentsGroup Policy design, implementation, and troubleshootingIdentity, access, and directory services managementLead Windows Server administration, including:New server build-outsUpgrades and lifecycle managementEstablishing best practices and operational guidelinesManage and support VMware infrastructurevCenter, ESXi, and virtual machine performanceOversee backup and recovery operationsVeeam configuration, monitoring, and testingSupport and maintain storage and SAN environmentsImplement and maintain monitoring solutions to ensure system performance, availability, and reliabilityTroubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide root-cause analysisDocument systems, configurations, and procedures to support operational consistencyCollaborate with internal teams to support enterprise applications and infrastructure needsRequired Experience & SkillsStrong experience with Active Directory / Azure AD (Entra ID)Deep knowledge of Windows Server administration in enterprise environmentsHands-on experience with VMware (vCenter, ESXi)Experience supporting backup solutions (Veeam preferred)Working knowledge of storage and SAN technologiesExperience with infrastructure monitoring toolsAbility to work independently, prioritize effectively, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholdersNice to Have (Not Required)Azure infrastructure experienceMicrosoft 365 administrationIntune and/or SCCM exposurePowerShell scripting and automationExperience in hybrid cloud environments
