Privately HeldAbout the RoleThe Company is in search of an Executive Director or Senior Director for Portfolio and Asset Strategy. This pivotal role involves leading the integrated strategy across multiple clinical-stage oncology assets, with a focus on next-generation therapies targeting challenging cancers. The successful candidate will be the strategic lead for the pipeline, working closely with senior leadership to shape development strategy, portfolio prioritization, and long-term asset value creation. Key responsibilities include leading asset-level strategy, translating complex clinical and scientific data into strategic recommendations, and aligning development strategy across the organization. The role also encompasses supporting business development initiatives, contributing to strategic narratives, and engaging with external experts to inform decisions.Applicants must have a PhD, MD, PharmD, or MS/MBA with a strong scientific and strategic background, and 5-10+ years' of experience in biopharma portfolio strategy, asset strategy, or new product planning. A background in biopharma strategy consulting, investment banking, or equity research is strongly preferred, as is a strong oncology background with experience in clinical-stage programs. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to operate effectively in small to mid-sized biotech environments and experience working closely with executive leadership teams. Preferred experience includes a background in antibody-drug conjugates, biologics, or targeted oncology therapies, as well as experience in lung cancer and/or gynecologic oncology. This is a highly visible, strategic leadership role that offers the opportunity to influence portfolio-level decisions in a well-funded, clinical-stage company with multiple catalysts ahead.Travel Percent
