Workstate seeks a Lead GoLang AWS Developer to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for providing hands on agile tech leadership for our team developing and managing cloud-based applications using Go and AWS technologies. If you are passionate about building scalable and efficient applications while delivering exceptional value to our clients, you'll fit right in at Workstate.We aim to engage consultants who can motivate and galvanize our clients, while diving deeply into the work at hand and envisioning future projects. Our consultants are skilled decision-makers, committed to championing client visions and driving quality results.This position is a full-time, remote opportunity, available to people residing in Colombia or Argentina.RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have 6+ years of professional experience and have demonstrated some of the following skills professionally, but not necessarily all:A track record as a technical leader with teamwide impactExperience leading development teams in an agile contextExperience decomposing and assigning work to your team membersExperience removing blockers, pulling devs out of blind alleys, and maintaining forward momentumProficient in GoLang and its frameworksHands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., RKS, MSK, EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway)Knowledge of microservices architectureFamiliarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelinesExperience with Kafka and/or other messaging and queueing frameworksExperience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databasesStrong understanding of RESTful API design and developmentExperience working within an Agile team environmentB2 level (upper-intermediate) or higher English language competency with ability to communicate effectively in professional settings, both written and verbal
