This position offers a 3x12 night shift schedule, providing essential care to patients across various age groups. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of one year of experience in the field.Shift Details Schedule: Night 3x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00) Weekend Coverage: Every Other WeekendQualifications Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, CRT or RRT Years of Experience: Minimum of 1 year First-time travelers are accepted Must be able to float between similar units Pending licenses are acceptedCore ResponsibilitiesThe Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care for patients, including but not limited to the following: Management of ventilation strategies (BiPAP, CPAP) Demonstrating expertise in the care of patients with ARDS, aspiration, and COVID-19 Performing aerosol medication delivery, including setup for masks and tracheostomies Assisting in high-risk deliveries and neonatal care Conducting procedures such as capillary and umbilical blood gas analysis Providing pulmonary hygiene and nebulization treatment Interpreting arterial blood gases and managing oxygen therapyPreferred Skills and Equipment Knowledge Familiarity with medications such as Albuterol, Nitric Oxide, and Tobramycin Experience with equipment such as Draeger and Bellavista Proficient in mask fitting and monitoring vital respiratory parameters (End-Tidal CO2, O2 Saturation)Patient DemographicsThis position will involve direct patient care for a diverse age range, including: Neonates Infants Children Adolescents Adults GeriatricsInterdisciplinary CollaborationThe Respiratory Therapist will work closely with other healthcare professionals, including: Respiratory Services Rapid Response TeamsLocationThis position is located in a city recognized for its commitment to quality healthcare, enhancing community well-being.How to ApplyIf you meet the above qualifications and are passionate about respiratory therapy, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.Modern Healthcare Solutions Job ID #36918681.
