We power millions of games each year, connecting athletes, families, and communities through technology. As we expand across sports—including continued growth in baseball and softball and rapid investment in basketball—we’re building a sales function to accelerate our next phase of growth.We’re looking for our first Director of Sales to build and lead GameChanger’s sales organization from the ground up.This is a unique opportunity to define how sales works at GameChanger—owning strategy, execution, and team-building, while directly impacting growth across two key areas:Basketball (B2B2C): Partnering with clubs and organizations to drive adoption across teams, athletes, and familiesDiamond Sports (B2B): Expanding relationships with leagues, tournaments, and organizations in baseball and softballYou’ll operate as both a strategic leader and hands-on operator, closing deals while building the systems and team that scale revenue long-term.What You’ll DoBuild the Sales FunctionEstablish GameChanger’s sales motion from scratch as the first sales leaderDesign and implement core infrastructure, including CRM, pipeline management, forecasting, and reportingDevelop sales playbooks, pricing/packaging inputs, and compensation structuresHire and lead a high-performing team across new business and account managementEngage key stakeholders across clubs (directors, coaches, program leaders)Create repeatable strategies for onboarding, activation, and expansionOwn Revenue & ExecutionCarry and deliver against revenue targets across verticalsBuild and manage a healthy pipeline with strong forecasting disciplinePersonally lead and close high-impact dealsBuild Account Management & RetentionEstablish an account management approach to drive retention and expansionDefine the customer lifecycle from acquisition through long-term growthPartner closely with Customer Success to maximize customer outcomesCollaborate Across GameChangerPartner with Product to shape roadmap based on customer insightsWork with Marketing on demand generation and positioningAlign with leadership on go-to-market strategy and growth prioritiesWho You Are7–10+ years of sales experience, including leadership roles in a B2B or B2B2C environment4+ years of experience managing a sales teamProven track record of hitting or exceeding revenue targetsExperience building and scaling a sales function (team, tools, process)Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot)Experience in sports, SaaS, marketplaces, or multi-sided platformsWhy Join GameChangerOpportunity to build the sales function from the ground up at a category-leading productDirect impact on growth across multiple sports and customer segmentsWork on a product that is deeply meaningful to athletes, families, and communitiesCollaborative, mission-driven team with strong product-market fitThe target salary range for this position is between $160,000 - $180,000. This is part of a total compensation package that includes incentive, equity, and benefits for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by several factors including experience, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We constantly review all teammate pay to ensure a great compensation package that is fair and equal across the board.
