Technical Solution Manager
RUTTERKEY SOLUTIONS LLC JOB DESCRIPTION
RutterKey Solutions seeks a Technical Solution Manager (TSM) to manage the overall IFS technical solution for a customer from initial rollout, continuing to engage through the entire customer lifecycle as a trusted advisor. This involves defining the technical solution, driving advanced technology when necessary based on the customer requirements, and working with other teams to collaborate on technical deliverables required for a successful customer engagement. The TSM plays a key role in delivering value to our customers.
POSITION TITLE: Technical Solution Manager
REPORTS TO: Supervisor
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Understands the technical deliverables of the IFS project per the solution proposed in the sales cycle and provides input to the Project Manager for incorporating them into the project plan.
Coordinates all technical activities in the implementation/upgrade project, from the initial deployment of software to post-go-live support.
Acts as the technical point of contact for the customer and the project team, ensuring good communication between the technical teams and project team members.
Build strong working relationships within RutterKey and with customers, providing high level of customer service.
Coordinates and tracks progress of Configuration, Reports, Integration, and Modification (CRIM) development activities and technical training.
Forecasts technical resource demand and secures resources.
Resolves technical issues during the project.
Participates in the technical design of CRIM items, makes sure appropriate designs are used in each CRIM item, and the combination of all CRIM constitutes a robust solution.
Assists/guides the customer with technical configuration and security setup. Identify new opportunities, services and technologies to help clients optimize their systems.
Keeps up to date with new developments in the IFS product suite, new releases and their content, and how it might affect the project
Shares technical knowledge and expertise.
Achieves and maintains IFS practitioner certifications.
Understands and represents the RutterKey values.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent job experience or other professional qualifications.
At least 6 years of experience in software development or Systems Engineering, preferably with architect/technical lead level experience.
PL/SQL programming skills, advanced SQL knowledge
Strong technical understanding of IFS applications, ideally with IFS Cloud experience.
Broad technical skill set, with familiarity of technologies involved in multi-tiered enterprise application architectures.
Technical experience in customizing/implementing a major ERP/FSM or similar enterprise system.
Aware of database administration and system troubleshooting/optimization-related activities
Experience with Oracle databases.
Great communication skills.
Ability to travel to customer sites where required.
Proactive, collaborative and supportive mindset, with a ‘keep moving forward’ attitude.
US Citizenship or permanent resident, fluent in English language
