Lead School Age Teacher

Duties
Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning.
Lead classroom activities that promote active learning, creativity, and critical thinking tailored to school-age children’s developmental stages.
Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies to ensure a safe and respectful environment.
Support children with special education needs and early intervention strategies to foster inclusive learning experiences.
Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor progress and inform instruction.
Collaborate with parents, guardians, and colleagues to communicate student progress and address individual needs effectively.
Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, student achievements, attendance, and behavioral notes to ensure compliance with educational standards.
Skills
Expertise in curriculum development for school-age children across diverse subjects including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
Proven experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, demonstrating strong classroom management skills.
Knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention techniques, and special education practices.
Excellent communication skills for engaging with students, parents, staff, and community partners.
Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate standardized testing results and tutoring strategies for academic growth.
Experience with toddler care, preschool experience, daycare environments or private schools is highly desirable.
Strong organizational skills for lesson planning, classroom management, and maintaining accurate records of student progress.
