The Production Line Team Lead is responsible for tracking and managing attendance and employee-related issues and works closely with the Production Supervisors to ensure a strong operating team. They are responsible for ongoing training and development as well as ensuring a safe work environment.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure all areas of the semi-automated production line are running optimally and safelyManage a team of operators in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentWork closely with other Team Leads and other teams to ensure that safety, quality and production targets are metParticipate in daily production walkthroughs, verifying that required production data is posted and accurateProvide line support if needed due to quality issues, break relief or production line prioritiesEnsure the production team is working in a safe and efficient manner, including enforcing site cleanliness and organization requirementsEvaluate, monitor, and mentor employees regarding performance, productivity, and compliance Handle employee relations issues with assistance from Human Resources as neededParticipate in Production Meetings and lead floor production meetingsSupport the Production Supervisor in the completion of daily shift reportsPerform other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor or delegate.Minimum QualificationsMinimum high school diploma (or equivalent) with at least two years of related supervisor experience or an equal combination of education and experience is required.Previous experience working on/leading production lines considered an assetAbility to be a people leader Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) including the ability to communicate clearly, succinctly, and effectively with all departmentsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to be a self-starter and strong teamwork skillsMechanical and/or Electrical skills an assetSafety minded Strong multi-taskerExperience with Microsoft Office and applicable operating systems requiredCriminal Background check and drug screening requiredIdentified as a safety sensitive positionPhysical RequirementsMust be 18 years of age or olderMust be able to perform repetitive motion tasks for extended periods of timeMust be able to stand for extended periods of timeMust be able to tolerate an assembly line environmentCompensation Package Salary: $25.50 - $29.00/hrNight Shift premium: $1 per hour Benefits + 401K 12-hour shifts, 4 on 4 off rotationQualified applicants should submit a cover letter and resume to the Careers Center.All applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States of America.Heliene is strongly committed to fostering diversity and inclusivity within our organization and is an equal-opportunity employer.
