Lead Prep

Chicken Salad Chick is looking for a dependable, motivated Lead Prep Team Member to help lead our kitchen prep team! This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in quality and organization, and is ready to take on additional leadership responsibilities. You'll help ensure our fresh, made-from-scratch chicken salads and sides are prepared correctly, efficiently, and ready to serve our guests each day. Why you'll love working here: Closed every Sunday Daytime hours – no late nights No fryers Consistent schedule Free employee meals Paid training Positive, team-focused environment Opportunities for advancement What you'll do: Help lead and support the daily prep team Prepare fresh chicken salads, sides, and ingredients according to recipes Organize daily prep lists and prioritize production needs Ensure prep is completed accurately and on time Maintain product quality and consistency Monitor inventory and communicate product needs to management Keep prep areas clean, organized, and properly stocked Follow and reinforce food safety and sanitation standards Help train and coach new prep team members Work alongside the team to ensure a smooth and efficient shift We're looking for someone who: Is dependable, punctual, and organized Has a strong work ethic and takes initiative Can lead by example and motivate others Works efficiently in a fast-paced environment Pays close attention to detail and product quality Communicates well with team members and management Is comfortable taking ownership of the prep team's daily responsibilities Previous restaurant, kitchen, or food prep experience is preferred. Previous leadership experience is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person who is ready to take the next step.
