Registered Nurse (RN) | Infusion Location: Fairfax, VA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,010 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/1/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Infusion Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 hours Hours per Shift: 7 AM - 7 PM Experience: Minimum of 2 years outpatient infusion experience required License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, chemotherapy/biotherapy certification, Epic experience preferred Must-Have: True chemotherapy infusion experience, ambulatory oncology experience Description: This position involves administering chemotherapy and biotherapy medications. Care coordination, including setting up follow-ups and labs, is essential. The role requires effective communication with the front desk and other providers. Responsibilities include injections, blood transfusions, and therapeutic phlebotomy. Education and symptom management are critical components of patient care. Focused assessments are also an important duty. You will be part of a team that typically has an average of 2 Nurse Practitioners and 18-22 nurses. Daily patient volume is between 180-200. The unit utilizes Epic and Beacon for electronic medical records. Travelers must demonstrate flexibility and contribute to a positive environment for all clients. Successful candidates will be the first to float to other infusion centers when necessary. A dress code of navy scrubs is observed. This position includes holiday requirements of 1 major and 1 minor holiday. Weekend commitments include every other weekend. There is no on-call requirement for this position.
