Licensed Practical Nurse / LPNValley County Health System has an excellent career opportunity available for a Licensed Practical Nurse / LPN to join our Acute Care department working full or part-time. This LPN position is for the night shift working from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. including rotating weekends. Responsibilities include utilizing nursing skills for patient care, performing and maintaining documentation and promoting and ensuring patient and staff safety. Requirements include current licensed practical nurse licensure for the state of Nebraska, safe and appropriate care within the standards of nursing, experience with computers (Word, Excel, etc.), independent problem-solving skills and self-directed work experience, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated leadership skills are also required.
