The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in embedded C, AUTOSAR, and cybersecurity protocols, along with hands-on experience in securing ECU architectures and communication interfaces.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop secure embedded software for automotive ECUsImplement and integrate cybersecurity features such as Secure Boot, Secure Flash, and cryptographic servicesWork on AUTOSAR-based architectures with a focus on cybersecurity stack integrationDevelop and maintain diagnostics and secure communication mechanismsAnalyze and mitigate vulnerabilities in embedded systems and communication protocolsCollaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure secure system designEnsure compliance with automotive cybersecurity standards (ISO 21434, SAE J3061)Perform security testing, validation, and code reviewsTranslate system and security requirements into robust embedded implementationsUse debugging and analysis tools to troubleshoot and optimize system performanceRequired Qualifications7+ years of experience in automotive embedded software developmentStrong expertise in C / Embedded C programmingHands-on experience with RTOS-based systemsSolid understanding of automotive hardware and software architecturesExperience with communication protocols:CAN, LIN, EthernetI2C, SPIExperience in AUTOSAR (Classic/Adaptive) and cybersecurity integrationHands-on experience with:DiagnosticsSecure Boot / Secure FlashCybersecurity stack integrationFamiliarity with ISO 21434, SAE J3061 standardsKnowledge of HSM implementation and SHE+Experience using tools such as CANoe, compilers, and debuggersStrong understanding of MISRA C guidelinesExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and documentation abilitiesPreferred QualificationsKnowledge of ASPICE processIndustry certifications such as Certified Automotive Cybersecurity Professional (CASP)Experience addressing automotive-specific security challengesBackground in cryptography and secure embedded systems design/testingKey SkillsEmbedded Systems SecurityAUTOSAR CybersecuritySecure ECU DevelopmentCryptography & Secure CommunicationRTOS & Low-Level ProgrammingAutomotive Protocols & Diagnostics
