Bilingual Payroll/Benefits Specialist

Equal Opportunity EmployerJob SummaryThe ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in payroll processing and benefits administration to ensure accurate and efficient employee compensation and benefits management.Essential FunctionsProcess and manage payroll for 2000 employees using ADP Workforce software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.Maintain employee records, including tax information, direct deposit details, and benefit deductions.Handle all aspects of benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and terminations for health insurance, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) plans.Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits, providing timely and accurate information and assistance.Reconcile payroll and benefits data, investigate and resolve discrepancies, and ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.Fulfills all governmental regulatory mandates and ensures filings are performed quarterly and annually as required for service areas tax, 401k, and ERISA.Responds to and manage unemployment, disability, ADA, and workers' compensation claims.Collaborate with accounting team members to ensure seamless payroll, benefits, HRIS systems, and general ledger integration.Assist with year-end reporting, including W-2 processing, 401(k) testing, and other compliance requirements.Generate and analyze reports from ADP Workforce to support management decision-making and audit purposes.Reconcile monthly benefit carrier billing against payroll records.Process garnishment orders, Child Support processing as well as employment verifications.Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency and services performed.Stay updated on changes in payroll and benefits regulations, laws, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and recommend process improvements as needed.Participate in special projects related to payroll, benefits, HR initiatives, or other duties as assigned.
