This role is essential to ensuring seamless event execution—from initial client coordination through day of event support. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, and is passionate about delivering genuine hospitality and guest experiences while supporting administrative and sales processes behind the scenes. Starting at $20-$22/hour depending on experience.Venue Sales Assistant Key Responsibilities Vendor & Event CoordinationWork with clients and vendors to coordinate access to buildings for deliveries and pick-upsOn site for pre and post event coordinationEnsure clients, vendors, and guests adhere to all facility policiesDaily venue perimeter checksSet up sales team for venue toursSupport communication between sales, operations, and vendor partners Venue & Event Operations SupportAssist with event setup and breakdown, including décor, signage, and specialty itemsEnsure event spaces are organized, clean, and presentation-readySupport event flow and timelines as directedGreet clients, guests, and vendors in a professional and welcoming mannerProvide day-of-event logistical support as neededUphold venue standards for cleanliness, organization, and safety Sales & Administrative SupportUphold Cameron Mitchell Premier Events’ culture, philosophy, and standards of excellenceFollow proper timekeeping policies and proceduresCover reception area as needed; answer and screen calls, distribute messages professionallySchedule and confirm client appointments and meetingsMaintain electronic and physical client filesCreate and update event foldersPrint and prepare materials for BEO meetingsCreate and update floor plans; maintain detailed event notesSend final BEOs to internal teamsCreate menu cards and food tags as neededProvide general administrative support to the Event ProducersComplete special projects and additional duties as assigned Financial & System ManagementCollect payment information and process paymentsUpdate and maintain payment details in CatereaseEnsure accuracy of client records and event documentationVenue Sales Assistant Skills QualificationsPrevious hospitality, events, administrative, or customer service experience preferredStrong organizational and time-management skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyProfessional communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExperience with Caterease or similar event software preferredExperience with Prismm or similar diagram software preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to lift 40 lbs and stand for extended periods when supporting eventsFlexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekendsA valid drivers license and reliable transportation Preferred AttributesPassion for hospitality and creating memorable experiencesProactive, team-oriented mindsetCalm and solution-focused under pressureProfessional appearance and demeanorAbility to anticipate needs and take initiativeCameron Mitchell Restaurants is an Equal Opportunity Employer celebrating diversity & committed to creating an inclusive environment for all Associates.
