In this role, you will formulate strategies, enforce company policies, and enhance performance through effective data management and financial reviews. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying trends and assessing opportunities to improve processes and execution, ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.Roles And ResponsibilitiesLeading and managing a team of front-line supervisors in the planning and execution of day-to-day operations ensuring a focus on a safety-first cultureManaging staffing, supply, and equipment needs based on forecasted volumeMentoring, developing, and expanding talent and performance initiatives throughout the locationIdentifying and creating continuous process improvement opportunitiesDriving strategic initiatives as requiredOverseeing machine and building maintenance to ensure preventative maintenance programs are in place to minimize downtimeEnsuring warehouse staff are trained in health, safety, and environmental practices pertinent to their positions as required by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OHSA) and company policiesAll other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without noticeRequirementsCollege degree preferred or High School Diploma with 7 plus years of manufacturing experience5 plus years of warehouse operations experience, preferably in the metal processing/distributing industryKnowledge of ISO policies, procedures, and work instructions as outlined by ISO 9001:2008 Knowledge of statistical process control, warehousing, metal handling, equipment operation, and transportation regulations and proceduresSAP experience preferredMS Office experience (Word, Excel, etc.)Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and leadership abilitiesDemonstrated experience in continuous improvement initiatives – e.g. lean manufacturing, 5S, LEAN, 6-sigma etc.Salary $114,022.04 - $171,033.06 annually.
