The Terraces at Heritage Grove Estates (ALF) - Job Title: Certified Medication Aide (CMA)Position Summary:Heritage Grove Estates is seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our care team. In this role, you will provide essential support in medication administration while assisting residents with daily living activities. The ideal candidate is a dedicated advocate for residents and their families, committed to delivering safe, high-quality, and person-centered care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.Key Responsibilities:Administer medications as prescribed with accuracy and timeliness in accordance with physician orders and facility protocolsMonitor and document vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respirations, and report abnormalities to licensed nursing staffAssist residents with mobility needs, including transfers, ambulation, and repositioning, following established care plansProvide toileting assistance and manage incontinence care with dignity and respectRespond promptly to call lights and resident requests, ensuring needs are addressed efficientlyMaintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment in alignment with infection control and safety standardsCommunicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members to support continuity of careObserve and report changes in resident condition to the supervising nurse in a timely mannerComply with all safety regulations, infection prevention protocols, and organizational policiesSupport residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feedingCollaborate closely with clinical staff to ensure individualized care plans are executed effectively, addressing both physical and emotional needsQualifications:Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing with the State Board of NursingActive Medication Aide certification in the state of practiceAbility to deliver compassionate, resident-centered care to individuals with varying physical and cognitive conditionsStrong teamwork and collaboration skills within a healthcare environmentEffective problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced settingExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated commitment to providing high-quality care to seniorsBenefits:Competitive compensationHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid Time Off (PTO)Supportive and team-oriented work environment401KAbout Us:Heritage Grove Estates is a premier provider of skilled nursing and rehabilitation services in Topeka, Kansas.
