The role involves managing telemetry patients, titrating cardiac and insulin drips, and performing advanced nursing interventions in a 25-bed unit.Key Responsibilities:Monitor and manage cardiac telemetry and patient vitals.Titrate cardiac drips (e.g., Cardizem) and insulin drips per protocols.Administer medications, subcutaneous insulin, potassium runs, and IV therapy.Perform foley catheter insertion and manage patient lines.Report abnormal lab values, oxygen saturations, and patient status changes.Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech.Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, physical therapy, and social services.Serve as charge nurse when required.Requirements:Licensure: Active PA RN LicenseExperience: Minimum 2 years RN experience (first-timers may be considered)Certifications: ACLS, BLS; PALS preferredCharting System: Meditech required
