Travel RN - Surgical ICU

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Surgical Trauma ICU (STICU) position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, ACLS, and proficiency with complex surgical and trauma patients.Job Details• Acute care hospital setting in a Surgical Trauma ICU (STICU),• Patient population includes post-surgical and post-trauma patients, as well as those with burns, orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurosurgical, and oncological conditions,• Medical ICU patients may be placed in this unit when no other ICU beds are available,• CRRT, dialysis, and Open Heart recovery experience is highly desirable,• Charting is performed in MEDITECH,• 12-hour day shifts,• 17-week contract,Job Requirements• Active RN license - Georgia (GA) or Compact license required,• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS, and NIHSS,• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required,• Strong surgical ICU background required; trauma experience preferred,• Experience with CRRT, dialysis, and Open Heart recovery is highly desirable,• A valid Driver's License is required for consideration,Additional Information• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position,• Candidates who have been employed by this facility within the last 12 months are not eligible,• RTO requests are honored only if submitted and confirmed at the start of the assignment,
