This position requires to be fully on-site, Monday through Friday. This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement (up to 2 days per week, subject to change at the company's discretion) after the incumbent demonstrates the ability to manage job duties and time commitments effectively. The salary range listed in the job posting reflects base compensation only. A target discretionary bonus of 20%, paid monthly and based on company performance, is available in addition to base salary. JOB SUMMARY Under general supervision, the Accounts Receivable Administrator is responsible for collecting delinquent payments, researching past due invoices, and posting cash on commercial accounts. The role requires experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, and superior people skills. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. This position serves as a trained accounts receivable administrator reporting directly to the Accounting Manager. The position has no direct reports or supervisory responsibility but serves as a source of accounts receivable information to management. This position is responsible for ensuring that customer payments are collected and posted accurately, timely and in accordance with company procedures and policies. The position interacts daily with company employees on all levels. Externally, the position interacts with company customers and banking institutions. Customer service and problem-solving including correspondence with inside and outside Cascade salespeople and manufacturing plants as well as customers Collect delinquent payments from customers Evaluate credit reports, customer payment history and order volume to determine credit worthiness Cash posting from two cash lockboxes and incoming wires/ACH payments Enter invoice details on customer websites for payment Address book maintenance/new customer setup Email customer invoices Help identify and implement process improvements Stay current on JDE and integration platform updates, monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency and scalability QUALIFICATIONS Associate degree or equivalent experience 2+ years of commercial collections and cash posting experience Cash application experience – highly preferred Experience working with internal and external customers to solve problems Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat required Experience using JD Edwards highly desirable Exceptional time management and organizational skills Exceptional track record in managing many details and working with great accuracy Proven ability to set priorities and meet deadlines Ability to work successfully in a collaborative, team-oriented organization, but also be able to work independently Able to proficiently speak, read, write, and understand English required Excellent customer service experience and communication skills including interacting with others in-person and through email, using critical thinking skills to respond to inquiries or solve problems.
