Psychiatric Mental Health NP needed near Portland, OR Looking for a BE/BC PMH-NP to join a team The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMH-NP) works collaboratively with the Senior Behavioral Health Unit (SBHU) care team to provide patient assessment and diagnosis, formulate treatment plans, prescribe medications, order laboratory tests, interpret test results, and provide patient and family education. The NP will document in patient medical record in accordance with the statutes, regulations and protocols regulationg the profession as well as the medical staff bylaws. The NP works under the supervision of the Medical Director and the Manager. Hospitalists collaborate with the providers to consult on complex medical issues that may come up. There is also a great collaborative team approach in the unit between nurses, social workers, OTs and providers to ensure all needs patient needs are met near Portland, this a beautiful town surrounded by vineyards, loads of outdoors activities, and drive to the beach.
