What you will enjoy doingYou will collaborate with reliability and operations teams to identify and resolve long-term asset issues and reliability threatsAnalyze data from various sources to recommend and justify life-cycle cost and reliability improvementsLead Root Cause Analysis for major failures to prevent recurrenceSupport engineering, design, specification, and execution of projects to maximize reliability and operabilityFurther, you will review and update Standard Maintenance and Operating proceduresConduct and assist with Reliability Assessments of facilities and equipmentApply Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous reliability improvementsSupport the setup of new facilities and reliability programsLead key reliability programs and initiatives to enhance asset performanceAlso, you will assist in identifying critical spares and creating Bills of Materials for essential assetsThis position typically requires approximately 20-25% travel domestically. Accessibility during off-hours (laptop and cell phone) is occasionally required.What Makes You GreatYou hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical EngineeringBring a minimum of five years’ experience in maintenance or reliability engineering within an industrial manufacturing environmentFurther, you demonstrate hands-on experience with maintenance and engineering of mechanical equipment including compressors, heat exchangers, pumps, chillers, cooling towers, piping, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsInterpret and understand Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams and machinery drawings confidentlyYou apply knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies and technologiesDesign, specify, and engineer mechanical systems, assets, and projects effectivelyAlso you communicate clearly and collaborate well within teams, delivering presentations as neededWork independently and lead or contribute actively to cross-functional teamsManage multiple tasks efficiently as a self-starter, achieving results with minimal supervisionUtilize computers and standard software packages such as Microsoft Office and email proficientlyWhy you will love working with usLinde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2025 sales of $34 billion.
